Chris A. Stachtiaris

Chris Stachtiaris concentrates his practice in the area of Family Law and brings a unique perspective to his practice. Embarking on a career in law after a successful career as a business professional with Hewlett-Packard and Agilent Technologies, Chris brings a diverse background to the profession and his practice, giving him a special appreciation for the law and its impact on people in dispute. Chris has taught classes on Pennsylvania divorce law and collaborative law in continuing legal education and community education settings. He has also been a speaker on the topic of collaboration to county bar association groups, the Pittsburgh Chapter of the Matrimonial Inn of Court and other organizations. Chris has been appointed as the first Chair of the Allegheny County Bar Association’s Collaborative Law Committee and sits on the Executive Committee of the Collaborative Law Association of Southwestern Pennsylvania (CLASP), where he is a founding member and former Secretary.

I was first trained in Collaborative Law in 2007 by Susan L. Brunsting. I have also attended intermediate training with Sherri Goren Slovin in 2008, intermediate training with Susan L. Brunsting in 2009, and advanced training from Pauline Tesler in 2010. I have also completed 46 hours of mediation training and have attended the 2010 and 2011 IACP Networking and Education Forums.
