Adele D'Ari

Dr. 'Ari is a clinical psychologist in practice for over 25 years and licensed in both Virginia and Washington DC. Collaborative practice has been a strong addition to the extensive clinical work she has done with couples and families. She is an approved supervisor and clinical member of the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapy and has been an active supervisor including starting the Northern Virginia Family Reflecting Team 20 years ago. Her main clinical interests are working with families-especially with adolescents and couple. She also works with families who experienced a traumatic loss. Collaborative work is central to her professional currently as she is the past co-chair of the Northern Virginia Collaborative Professionals (CPNV) and is the president elect of the Virginia Association of Collaborative Professionals. She serves as a coach and client specialist on collaborative teams in the metro area. She is one of the founding members of CPTI, a training institute that provides a variety of trainings in the collaborative field. As part of her work in the area of divorce she also works as a parent co-ordinator and works with families going through divorce on the parenting plans and assists the family through a stressful transition.
