Cynthia L. Zagorski
I am the owner of Cynthia Zagorski Financial Consulting, LLC. My work focuses on divorce financial analysis, working as the financial neutral in the collaborative process, mediation, and supporting the work of attorneys practicing family law. I have been a CPA for over 18 years and have substantial experience in accounting and income taxation. For over five years, I have focused on financial planning for individuals and couples, working as the financial neutral in collaborative divorce cases, co-mediating divorce cases, providing divorce financial analysis for attorneys and mediators, and providing litigation support, including expert witness testimony.
My experience related to the divorce process includes budgets, analysis of assets and liabilities, child support, cash flow projections, retirement projections, tax projections, and college expense projections. In addition, I have provided analysis for support determinations, division of property settlements, asset tracing, non-marital property allocations, and other aspects of financial analysis related to divorce. I have extensive experience as a financial neutral within the collaborative divorce framework.
Prior to becoming a CPA, I worked in the mental health field in various capacities. My interest in problem solving and communication started with that work.

| Type Of Practice |
My practice focuses on helping couples with the financial aspects of their divorce. It's my job to support and educate the spouse with less familiarity about the finances to a level of comfort that allows for decision making. My analysis and work brings information to the process about the couple's financial life now and how it might look moving forward. I provide information about the potential impact of financial options for both parties. This helps the clients generate and evaluate options.
