Lisa Rachel Herrick
A licensed clinical psychologist, I have been working with couples and families for over 20 years. I have completed over 65 Collaborative cases as a Coach or Child Specialist, and am a founding member of the Collaborative Practice Training Institute (CPTI), which offers basic and advanced trainings throughout the country. Formerly President of the DC Academy of Collaborative Professionals, I currently serve on their Board as Education Committee Chair. I have co-authored a book with Kate Scharff to be published by the American Bar Association Press in October, 2010, entitled 'The Emotional Dynamics of Collaborative Divorce; A Guide for The Whole Team.'

As part of the CPTI faculty of trainers, I offer introductory trainings in multidisciplinary team practice, intermediate trainings in skill building in a hands-on experiential model called 'Boot Camp', and advanced trainings in the emotional dynamics of divorce, screening collaborative clients, creating parenting plans, and working with high conflict clients. Finally, I co-lead 30 hour interest based negotiation and mediation skills trainings with several other CPTI faculty members.
