Susan J Gamache, PhD
I have been an rabid enthusiast of Collaborative Practice since I first heard Stu Webb in 1998. I was just finishing 12 years of graduate work in counselling psychology with a research and clinical focus on children and families through separation, divorce and remarriage. CP answered my imagination; providing a forum to bring everyone together in the service of the family. Since then I have worked as a Divorce Coach, Child Specialist, Writer, Trainer, and Group Facilitator within the CP community in Canada, US & Europe. We are an extraordinary group!
To date I have conducted over 70 trainings and presentations on CP, and truly enjoy and am continually inspired by being a part of this unique community of professionals. The CP community is always looking for a new way to take the next step forward; to try out a new idea that will make us more effective for our clients or taking the time to notice our relationships with our colleagues. Where would we be without them. ...Please visit susangamache.com for more information.

My professional practice has evolved over the 20 yrs I have been in full time private practice.... I offer general therapy for individuals, couples, families and children....I also provide specialized work in separation & divorce;....remarriage/stepfamilies; ......couples who are on the edge of separating;.......couples who wish to reconcile.
In Collaborative Practice I work as a Divorce Coach and Child Specialist. I also use the 2-therapist approach with couples in litigation and post-agreement conflict.

| Training Offered |
I have provided over 70 trainings in CP since 2001. As a trainer I can provide training in CP focused on:.....Assessing your CP group
[Where are the weak places...Where are you stuck...What will help you move forward in your evolution as a practice group].....Interdisciplinary Collaborative Practice [As a team member, team leader or embedded with the local training team].....Basic and Advanced Divorce Coaching,.....Basic and Advanced Topics in Child Specialist work, .....Divorce Assessment and Planning [How to work with your clients to create the process that works for everyone].....Communication [Communication practices with clients and other professionals].
I also provide Group Facilitation for CP groups generally and with a focus on:.....Building Productive CP Relationships,.....Team Building and.....Conflict Resolution. CP groups can benefit from combing several days of training with me on different topics to address the issues of most relevance for your group at this point in time. Because CP practice groups are made up of many interrelated relationship systems, positive steps in one area will support growth and change in other areas resulting in a net gain in energy and new ideas for your group.
