    General Comments
During my many years as a litigator and trial lawyer, I became troubled by the high financial and emotional costs, as well as by the extraordinary inefficiency of the traditional adversary system for resolving conflict. I have come to see myself primarily as a problem solver and approach all disputes, collaborative or otherwise, with a commitment to (a) being as creative and resourceful as I can be before concluding that any dispute must be turned over to a third-party decision makers (judge, jury, arbitrator, etc.) for resolution; and (b) not making myself part of the problem.
