Personal Statement: What I Bring to Clients and My Work
* Over eighteen years of experience in the Massachusetts and Federal Court Systems, trying matters and issues, drafting complex documents, and experience in multi-level negotiations
* An active commitment to problem solving and best interests of my clients
* Ongoing concern and enthusiasm in determining what are the most cost effective and long range solutions for my clients
* I am committed to a holistic approach; i.e. when a client wants more than a ‘quick fix’ of a problem/situation, I will always attempt to discern how issues/problems may affect the other areas of a client or entity’s functioning and attempt to get the client to commit to long range goals and the realization that the actions and decisions they make today, may have long lasting effects into their/the entity’s future; to plan is to grow.
* I believe that Collaborative law works and it is very often the most effective, productive, pro-active and satisfying approach for clients. It is the direction which the practice of law should follow whenever possible.
