I'm one of the few (approximately 100) attorneys in Ohio designated as a Certified Family Law Specialist by the Ohio State Bar Association. I am former chair of the Cincinnati Academy of Collaborative Professionals. Currently, 11 of the Certified Specialists in Ohio are located in Hamilton County; I am the only Certified Specialist with a primary office in the Butler/Warren county area.
After thirty years of legal practice, I have now restricted my work to Collaborative Law and Mediation. I have personally witnessed what divorce litigation too often brings: the destruction of parent-child relationships, the hatred, the animosity, the regret, the pain and the shamefulness involved in such situations; not to mention the wasting of time, energy and money. I have come to the conclusion that traditional family law litigation is antithetical to families in need of healthy transition.
