| General Comments |
Rich advises couples, families, individuals and businesses with prudent consultative financial planning. His mission is to provide innovative, practical, top-quality strategies and solutions that meet his clients’ financial needs. With access to attorney’s, tax planning experts, coaches and therapists, he is well equipped to work with clients of any net-worth who are going through the emotional, stressful and confusing process of divorce.
Everyone’s needs and goals are different. Rich believes there is no cookie cutter divorce. What may make sense for one person may not make sense for another. Addressing the financial issues that come up during the divorce process is one of the ways Rich shows his value. He helps his clients make smart choices with their money and enjoys taking whatever time is needed to explain financial planning and investment concepts that his clients need when contemplating or proceeding with a divorce.
Being a student of his profession, Rich is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certificant (CFP®), a Certified Divorce Financial Analyst (CDFA), a Certified Employee Benefits Specialist (CEBS) and an Accredited Investment Fiduciary (AIF). He has instructed various courses at Suffolk University and Merrimack College for those professionals trying to obtain the Certified Financial Planner™ (CFP®) designation and the Certified Employee Benefits Specialist (CEBS) designation.
Rich has 20 plus years’ experience working with employee benefits such as retirement plans and over 10 years working as a financial advisor. He has worked in various settings and has a good feel for how the industry works. Before becoming affiliated with Trilogy Financial Services, he worked at one of Commonwealth Financial Networks largest branch offices, owned his own financial planning practice through Investors Capital and started his career as a financial advisor working at Waddell & Reed.
Securities and Advisory Services offered through NATIONAL PLANNING CORPORATION (NPC), Member FINRA, SIPC. NPC is a Registered Investment Adviser. Trilogy Financial Services, Inc. and NPC are separate and unrelated entities.
