Audrey Simmons, CDFA™, CPA, MA
(Financial Professional/Mediator)
|
With 30 years experience in accounting and financial consulting as well as a background in counseling and mediation, Audrey brings a unique blend of experience, skills, and talent to her work as a divorce financial consultant. In addition, she has experienced firsthand the trauma of a contentious divorce involving young children. During the course of the last twelve years, working exclusively with clients going through divorce, she has developed a unique niche as a result of her ability to understand and address her clients’ emotional as well as financial issues. Her real passion is for using her skills to educate and empower others to overcome the fear of the financial impact of divorce which often impedes settlement and to re-direct the focus to rebuilding their financial lives post-divorce. She is committed to helping families resolve the issues of their divorce with minimal damage to their children and their finances.

| General Comments |
| When divorce is inevitable, I am committed to helping my clients navigate this difficult life transition as painlessly, privately, and cost-effectively as possible. Since my introduction to Collaborative Law in 2006, I have been successfully involved in a number of Collaborative cases. I have found it far superior to the litigation route when measured by any standard. As a board member of the Collaborative Family Law Group of Central Florida, I am actively involved in promoting the growth and awareness of Collaborative Law in the central Florida area. |
