  • General Comments
My experience is that a traditional, litigated divorce only deals with the outer trappings of divorce - division of property and liabilities, support obligations, parenting plans, etc. Collaborative Law allows couples to process their complete divorce, not only the outer trappings, but the inner feelings of anger, fear, frustration and loss that typically overwhelm individuals who are ending their marriage. Once the total divorce (inner and outer) is finished, then people can move on to enjoy the fulfillment that a divorce can bring once the emotional impact is over.
