Having practiced exclusively family law for over 12 years, it is clear to me that Collaborative Law is the best way to allow divorcing couples to have the ability to control the choices they make about what is best for their family and it allows people to close the door on one chapter of their lives and open a new chapter with mutual respect. My goal as a Collaborative practitioner is to help with that process and to provide families with the ability to work together to find the best solutions for their individual situations and with a greater degree of active participation in the choices and solutions that will have such a large impact on their lives and the lives of their children.

| General Comments |
| After having practiced for over 12 years and seeing the general dissatisfaction of the parties in the judicial system, Collaborative Law offers people the ability to actively participate in the decision-making process and allows them to find solutions that work best for their family, while having the support they need to effectively work together during a difficult time. |
