She felt frustrated, as so many other practitioners in family law, with the ravaging of family relationships and estates by litigation, so when collaborative law came to Texas, she felt it fit her like a kid glove sewn just for her. She has spent the past 8 years receiving training, practicing, giving trainings, and promoting collaborative law, and she hopes to have the privilege of doing that for the rest of her life.
