  • General Comments
I have pursued an active collaborative law practice since I became aware of the concept in 1992. Learning to actively listen to identify my client's interests and needs has immeasurably helped me to help my clients make settlements that are powerful and enduring for all members of the family. The collaborative skills I model for my clents help them communicate better after the divorce and promote coparenting. Practicing collaborative law is consistent with my values of preserving working relationships that benefit children when families transition from one to two households. Collaborative law avoids wasteful expense and promotes an equitable allocation of resources where they are most needed.
