General Comments As an experienced family law and divorce litigator, there is no question that collaborative law is the most preferred way to help clients through their family law or divorce cases. I have been a proponent of collaborative law since before my official training and an active advocate for resolving parties' legal problems through alternative means from the inception of my career. I am also a practicing parenting facilitator and mediator, and I am convinced there is no better means to resolve a family law matter without focusing first on the kids and their interests - litigation wholly fails to accomplish this task because it is inherently competitive.
