Jill A Poppe MacKenzie, JD
(Lawyer)
I have been continuously engaged in the practice of family law since 1992, for which my background in social work and tax law makes me uniquely qualified. I graduated from the University of Minnesota School of Law in June 1990; I was admitted to the practice of law in Minnesota in October 1990. Upon graduation from law school, Ernst & Young employed me in their tax department because I excelled in tax law classes during law school. My Bachelor's degree in social work is from Wright State University in Dayton Ohio. As a social worker I placed children for adoption, assisted foreign refugees, and administered the State of Ohio's free farm commodities program.
I handle only family law cases, which range from relatively simple negotiated settlements to contested large marital estates, many of which are complicated by a closely held business, as well as difficult custody and parenting time cases.
