| General Comments |
Collaborative divorce provides the ideal environment for fair and open resolution family law issues by allowing the parties to have active participation and direction in the process. The tone of a collaborative divorce is cooperative rather than combative. With a multi-disciplinary team approach, legal, financial and emotional issues are properly addressed. This type of team approach provides the best opportunity for family law resolutions that are in the best interests of the family as a whole. As a member of the Collaborative Practitioners of Greater Kalamazoo, I am devoted to this practice.
