Our firm motto is 'Innovative Approaches - Reasonable Solutions'. For me that means helping families plan their futures peacefully and constructively. Divorce is a time of change. If we can work together as a team, we can make it a time of building up rather than tearing down.
I have been involved in Collaborative Law since 2003, including service on the Boards of King County Collaborative Law (President 2008-2010) and Collaborative Professionals of Washington.

| General Comments |
Over the years I have always looked for better ways to help clients with family law problems, including helping pioneer the offering of 'unbundled legal services' in our area.
I see my job as a lawyer as helping people find solutions to their problems. For me, Collaborative Law is a way to help people end their marriage in a reasonable and adult way that will allow them to look back on their divorce as a time of positive growth rather than the most horrible experience in their lives.
