Rodney Johnson has been practicing family law since 1966. He has been an innovator in this field for many years. His approach has always been to encourage people to talk about solutions rather than to argue about positions. He started doing mediation some in Marin County is 1980. In 1988 he founded the Marin Association of Attorney Mediators. In the early 1990’s he helped co-found the Collaborative Lawyers of Marin (now Collaborative Family Law Professionals of Marin) and has conducted numerous trainings for lawyers and therapists in the collaborative process. His practice is limited to mediation, collaboration and consultation. He graduated from Northwestern University Law School. He is a Marin County Judge Pro Tem (settlement judge in Family Law cases).
