| General Comments |
| My previous experience in family law convinced me of the need to find a more collaborative, less adversarial manner in which to help family members resolve their issues and reach agreement. Collaborative practice and mediation empower individuals to participate more fully and creatively in identifying and crafting the solutions to their issues and conflicts. The skills developed in alternative dispute resolution can help the participants communicate and problem solve with one another after the agreement process is completed. |
